Government fighting to keep FISA ruling secret. Court ruled aspect of program unconstitutional

David Corn at Mother Jones reports that there is a ruling made by the FISA court that aspects of the phone and internet spying violated the fourth amendment, but government lawyers are fighting to keep the document secret.

Senator Wyden has refered to this ruling several times in statements he has made warning that we would be shocked to know the extent of the spying program.

When the government hides court opinions describing unconstitutional government action, America‚Äôs national security is harmed,” argues the Electronic Frontier Foundation.
